About Me
I qualified in 2008 as a Creative Arts Therapist. This enables me to work with people in a wide variety of ways, from talking to engaging in creative activities, whatever feels best for the individual (see Therapy for more info). Over the subsequent years I have been on an evolving journey, through studying Psychoanalysis, Meditation, Spiritual Psychology, and many courses on Trauma.
I am influenced by Jungian Psychoanalysis; Peter Levine's work on recovery from trauma; Georgi Y Johnson and Bart Van De Berge's teachings on Meditation and Mind Body integration; and my own experience with 'chronic pain' recovery.
I enjoy long walks with my two dogs, being inspired by good teachers, beautiful old trees and making things - from arts and crafts to my garden.
